About The Sindhudhurg Sainik School

The Maharashtra Government launched a residential English medium military school (6th–12th, Science) in 1996 to train future Defence officers. The curriculum integrates academics, leadership, military training, and sports. Cadets excel in competitions and adventure activities. The school prepares students for NDA, NA, AFA, and TES, ensuring holistic development and success in competitive exams.

School Campus

Sindhudurg Sainik School Amboli, managed by an Ex-servicemen association, upholds military values. Amboli was chosen for its ideal climate, environment, and suitability for training. A new 30-acre campus, allotted by the Maharashtra Government, will soon feature modern infrastructure, ensuring holistic cadet development with top-tier facilities for education, training, and overall growth.

Objectives Of Military Education

Sindhudurg Sainik School Amboli focuses on holistic cadet development, instilling leadership, patriotism, responsibility, courage, and excellence. It nurtures life skills, analytical thinking, and global perspectives while fostering positive behavior and strong character. The school prepares cadets for Armed Forces careers and equips them with the knowledge and acumen to excel in competitive exams.
